The footage, which stirred heated reactions online, prompted Peller to issue a public apology admitting his mistake and expressing regret.
Jarvis has now spoken out, insisting the incident was not domestic violence and warning critics against spreading false narratives about their relationship.
“I’m old enough to know what I want. People are saying Peller is beating me. Are you people okay? If he was abusing me, I would have left. This is not 1960. My life and my sanity come first,” she said in a video response.
She admitted the pushing was wrong but maintained it did not amount to abuse, stressing that both she and Peller are still learning and growing.
“That pushing was not it, but I believe he will change. I’m also working on myself, trying to control my reactions and act more like a lady. With time, we will both learn how to handle things better,” Jarvis explained.
The content creator further dismissed claims that she was with Peller for money or fame.
“I’m in a relationship with him because I love him, not because of fame or money. He’s just coming up, I’m just coming up too. Which fame? Which money?” she added.
